Use a hard ball point on a hard surface
and draw or trace directly on the white.

4-Part Stencil Paper for use with Thermal Copy Machine
1) Top White Paper. The white top layer will have the final image on its underside in reverse. Feed through the stencil machine with the white side up.
2) Thin Brown sheet. Protects purple coated layer during shipping and storage.
If you leave it in, the image will be on this thinner sheet. Take it out
and image is on underside of white top paper.
3) The "Purple" layer. This is not carbon but crystalline violet and caruba wax, non-toxic and safe for skin. The purple coating makes the image which is transferred to the back of the upper white sheet.
It will be in reverse so that when it is applied it is correct reading.
4) Bottom Yellow sheet. Holds everything together and provides grip when sending it through the thermal copy machine. 

"By Hand" 3-Part Stencil Paper without using Thermal Copier

1) The top layer is White.

This is the layer that will have the final image on its underside.
Draw directly or place artwork on top and copy lines pressing hard.
2) The "Purple" layer This is crystalline violet and caruba wax, non-toxic and safe for skin.
The purple coating creates the image which is transferred in reverse to the back of the upper white sheet.
4) The bottom sheet Holds everything in place.
Use a Carrier for Thermal 3M Machines

We used to think so, but
that marketing ploy is exposed.
 A carrier creates a more uniform squeeze through the rollers.

Insert the whole stencil set in the carrier
and feed through your machine

Does not work with pencil and
