The Apollo has earned the reputation as a stable work horse for outline or shade.  Its straight forward design gives it versatility and stability.  The chuck is a unique design invented by Andy Keator with two adjusting holes that can squeeze or expand the chuck to hold undersize or oversize tubes.  Because the frame is machined and not cast the chuck never squeezes out of shape.  A good all-around performer.
