"Life experience in tattoo and piercing has taught us things no outsider would know: such as, infections and healing problems are caused during aftercare by the client. There is no denying this and no valid argument to support the opposite.
Merely giving directions and aftercare products and sending clients on their way is being seized upon by those who know little about T&P so they can impose harsh rules and regulations prescribing in detail everything you do and everything you cannot do.  Preempt your clients' healing and check up on them on a regular basis during the healing process. Don't abandon your clients the way the health care system characteristically abandons you to your own devices once you leave the office, clinic or hospital with the 'Call us if you have any problems' brush-off. It wouldn't hurt to reinvigorate the care that nurses give."
